Theses two teachers have managed to teach while also raising a child that spent the first years of her life in and out of the hospital. The doctors had given up on Savannah. They said if she lived she probably would never walk, and shed have learning problems. Well their little girl turned 11 today. She takes dance lessons, she walks, is very intelligent and Amy and Rob raised her while still teaching first graders and fifth graders Amy goes above and beyond in her classroom to make sure all students succeed by using creative, fun, and exciting methods. Rob not only teaches but is an accomplished author. He uses his Sherlock Holmes Book to teach reading and writing skills. They deserve your award because inspite of their challenges they never gave up on their students. Parent request Them as teachers for their children.
