I nominate for the fight and desire I had to get back into the classroom after a 10 year detour. I make an effort to get to know my students through writing prompts and the behaviors they have in my class. My struggling kids (academic and behaviors) I find a way to help make their classroom experience better by giving choices. Some of the most difficult students need someone to just listen. I feel that I provide that to them.
