Boys and girls cross country coach
Coach Hood is there for all of his athletes. He has made me feel welcome as an incoming Freshman during even the pandemic. I am a deaf runner that relies on cochleae implants to hear. Each race he is in the start box since I run without my cochlear implants he taps my shoulder to make sure I start on time. He has learned some sign language and cheers me along my race by using signs . He never leaves a runner behind. He finds us slower runners and encourages us to always run our best races. He is always there to help us through a bad day or even when we are successful.
