Mrs. Mathews has been volunteering her time before school to reach out and teach a student who can not speak any English. She works with the student every morning before school on the basics of the English language. She is making a huge impact in this child’s life. Her English is improving and she is able to start understanding and participating in the classroom. I am so happy to be able to recognize Mrs. Mathews for her dedication outside of the classroom.
