Mrs. T has done an outstanding job of implementing a quality Physical Education program at St. Mary School!
She came to St. Mary 2 years ago and in that time frame she has established a curriculum in the PE class this is well respected by students, staff, and parents. She has taken her love and passion for health & fitness and has passed that on to her students.
The excitement that one sees from the students for her PE class is evident. Students have not only learned new skills, games, & knowledge, but they have learnt the importance of living a healthy life. Mrs. T has created an atmosphere where students are challenged but also gain self confidence in physical & social areas of their lives.
During this time when social distancing, masks, etc. are being enforced, Mrs. T has done her absolute best to safely utilize the outside areas of the school to enable students the opportunity to still engage in physical activity each day. She has implemented fun new ideas into the curriculum in order to allow students to utilize maximum amount of time outdoors during this timeframe.
Mrs. T is creative, dedicated and passionate about building a PE program that students can and will continue to thrive in. St. Mary School is fortunate to call her their PE teacher!!
