High School Resource Math
My husband Josh, teaches algebra and geometry at the high school in a resource class. Has been teaching math for 7 years. He is a very patient and calm teacher and works very hard to make sure students are understanding the material he is teaching. One thing that separates him from others in special education is that he holds his students accountable, he makes them earn their grade which can be uncommon in a special education class. And Murphysboro high school supports him in this which says a ton about their district and how much they care about their students education. No student should just skate or be passed by. It teaches them nothing and does not prepare them for the world. He goes in early and stays late to give his students extra learning time.
