Julie and I co-teach 5th grade. I am nominating Julie, because of her passion and her dedication to see all all of our students be successful. This goes far beyond the late evenings at work coming up with lesson plans or grading the same assignments for the third time. It doesnt have have anything to do with the money she takes from her pocket to buy supplies or rewards for our students. Julie takes the time to help make each child feel capable and worthy of doing well in school. She offers one on one assistance to those who need it. She gives all our students the opportunity to redo an assignment for a better grade. Julie tries to find what each student likes and tries to relate to them with that like. I have heard her ask parents numerous times, how can we help you and your child. Julie goes out of her way everyday to help our students and this means so much to our students.
