Ms Lynn Wilke is one of the most amazing teachers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have a child with autism who was pretty much non-verbal at the beginning of Pre-K. She required a lot of help, interventions, and understanding. Thanks to Ms Wilke, my daughter Zorianna now loves school, has a much larger vocabulary, and makes eye contact. Ms Wilke has been patient with me as a mother of a child with autism who trusts no one, especially the public school system. Thanks to her patience and persistence our lives have been forever changed. Ms Wilkes heart and love for these kiddos shows in everything she does. When the government shut down traditional education, Ms Wilke continued with videos and packets sent home. When the school board was planning for reopening she stood in the gap for these kids who so desperately need the social aspect of school. She advocated for their sensory needs regarding mandatory masking that could cause some of them to not be allowed to attend in person learning. Her impact will last a lifetime. Shes simply amazing and an example to all in her profession. Words are not enough to express my eternal gratitude towards her. Ms Lynn Wilke is simply the best.
