In this difficult and ever changing situation of COVID and E-Laerning, Mr. Young has lead all of his staff with kindness, positivity and patience. He also is fully invested in every single student and encourages them to email him personally with any issues they may have, big or small. School related or not. He wants to help and support his student in any way he can. He is far beyond an administrator…he has become a teacher support, staff support, he has become tech support for teachers, parents and students. He has taken the anger, frustration and sometimes cruel criticism from all directions from frustrated individuals with kindness and empathy. His contact positivity and encouragement for his students truly shows that his heart is 100% in his job and beyond. They way he supports and backs his teachers and entire staff is incredible and inspiring. He does all of this on top of having a wife and 3 school aged children in the same district at home as well! He is truly what our school and community need right now and is a backbone and support for anyone that needs or asks of him. He would do anything for anyone. He gives all he has to his job and this award would undoubtedly go to that as well. Mr. Young deserves to be recognized for the amazing person, principal, staff member and friend he is for every single person he encounters! The Amazon reward would simply help him provide even more of the support he is already giving every moment of every day, even far long after his office hours and has gone home.
