Kindergarten – Special Education
Sarah is an amazing and compassionate kindergarten special ed teacher. Sarah works very hard to help her self-contained students. She goes above and beyond for her students. Sarah is also an amazing mom of 3. Her youngest just started kindergarten, but had a traumatic brain injury at the age of 2 1/2 years old. Sarah had to take off working for an entire year to take care of her daughter. Ellie (Sarah’s daughter) has to have multiple therapies each week and also has an IEP herself. Sarah does not really ever get a break from work. She is on all day and then has to continue at night. Sarah never complains. Sarah also has Multiple Sclerosis, but most people will never know. She pushes through no matter what. Sarah takes care of her three kiddos, while doing an amazing job as a teacher. She cares so much for her students and will do whatever it takes to help them to be successful. Sarah deserves this reward for being an outstanding teacher in such uncertain times.
