Miss Thomas is just starting her third year of teaching, but she goes above and beyond to put her students at the fore front of her attention. When COVID hit us she was just getting ready to hold the school bookfair that her students and she worked so hard to put together. She did not let that stop her from holding it. She took the book fair mobile. She spent some time to create an online visual book fair for students and families to view the books and order. Then she delivered every order to her students home. She did all of this on her personal time because she wanted her students to have as much normalcy in their life as possible. Plus reading allows students an escape from the craziness going on around us. This is just one of the amazing things she has done for her students on her own time to let them know how much she values them. Miss Thomas is deserving of this appreciation along with every educator in this state.
